Great pH Strips
These strips are great to test the water in our Eden Tower. When I ran out and couldn’t find strips like these in gardening centers close by, I bought a testing kit where I put some water from the tower in a vial and then added a few drops of the testing liquid. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as precise as the strips (the results could have been anywhere from 5.0 to 6.5, based on the color). These strips are far more accurate and provide a much better reading. As long as I have hydroponics, I won’t be without these strips!

Growing our own food is becoming more and more important to us. After many failed attempts at growing lettuce indoors using soil, I started looking into hydroponics. Many of the systems were too complex for someone just starting out or the systems weren’t aesthetically pleasing. Imagine a vertical tower with four octopus arms as lights.
What attracted me first was the design; sleek and compact. After watching the videos, I was confident that I could maintain the system without too much time consumption. The other important factor; this is a Canadian company.
The tower was simple to erect and set up. What I like best is the Hub, where other tower owner, most with extensive knowledge of hydroponics, graciously share their knowledge. Believe me, as a newbie, I have questions.
I’m Hoping (hahaha) that this tower is so successful that I will be owning more than one.

will be nice to have a kit with 1 liter grow, 500 ml micro and 500ml bloom.

How Much Food Can Your Grow With The Eden Tower
1 Layer (4 Plants) Grows 24 Servings a Month
According to Nutritional Facts 1 Cup of shredded lettuce equals one serving.
One head of lettuce grown in the Eden Tower equals 6 cups of shredded lettuce. 4 Heads of Lettuce can grow every month. This means 24 servings of Lettuce can be grown every month per a Layer
Why only 4 plants per a layer?
Plants only grow as big as their environment, so if you want plants large enough to feed a family. They need enough space to grow.
We could have squished 30 plants in this garden but it would be to overcrowded and grow poorly. We placed 16 and they will yeild similar if not more than a 30 plant system that is overcrowded.
How much food each system can grow
Since the Eden Tower is expandable and you can have different amount of layers. We broke it down to how many layers you have.
- 1 layer you can grow 288 servings a year
- 2 layers you can grow 576 servings a year
- 3 layers you can grow 864 servings a year
- 4 layers you can grow 1,152 servings a year.

FAQs
You can grow 4 small plants and vine plants ( lettuce, kale, spinach, cucumber, herbs etc...)per a layer.
Or 1-2 larger plants ( recommended for space) per a layer ( tomato, peppers, beans, peas etc...)
The Eden Tower is compact and grows leafy greens, vine plants and herbs best. Lettuce, cucumber, kale, basil, spinach, mint etc..
You can grow larger plants as well like tomato, bean, peas, etc.. We recommend determinate varieties of these.
Other than root vegetables you can grow just about anything.
The main difference is the footprint. The Eden Garden is better for growing larger plants like tomatoes while the Eden Tower has a much smaller footprint but still allows you to grow up to 16 plants at a time.
Depending on what you are growing will depend on how quickly your plants grow. Most leafy greens and herbs will sprout in 2 days- 10 days. Fruiting plants take longer and sprout 7-14 days
Transit times depend on where you live. If you live in Canada, we ship your system 2-5 business days from ordering. Then it will take 2-7 business days from the shipping date to arrive at your house.
If you live in the US, we ship your system 2-5 business days from ordering. It will be delivered 5-10 business days from shipping date.
We recommend doing a deep clean of the system every 6 months to a year.
